Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use PinGrow. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using PinGrow on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

PinGrow provides the following features:

• Pinterest integration: Connect your Pinterest account via OAuth to manage boards and pins.
• Pin creation & scheduling: Create pin drafts with images, titles, descriptions, and hashtags, then schedule them for automatic publishing to your Pinterest boards.
• AI caption generation: Generate SEO-optimized pin titles, descriptions, hashtags, and board suggestions using artificial intelligence.
• Stock image search & AI image editing: Search stock photography and generate or edit pin images using AI, on paid plans.
• Analytics: View performance metrics (impressions, saves, clicks) for your published pins.
• Board management: Sync and manage your Pinterest boards within PinGrow.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. Account and Access

To use PinGrow, you must authenticate with a valid Pinterest account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your Pinterest account credentials.
• All activity that occurs through PinGrow under your account.
• Ensuring that your use of PinGrow complies with Pinterest's own Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

You may revoke PinGrow's access to your Pinterest account at any time through your Pinterest security settings.

4. Plans, Pricing and Usage Limits

PinGrow offers a free plan and three paid plans. Current prices, in US dollars, are:

• Starter: $19 per month, or $180 per year (billed annually, equivalent to $15 per month).
• Pro: $39 per month, or $348 per year (billed annually, equivalent to $29 per month).
• Ultimate: $79 per month, or $708 per year (billed annually, equivalent to $59 per month).

Prices exclude any sales tax, VAT, or equivalent charges, which may be added at checkout based on your location.

Every plan, including the free plan, is subject to usage limits that the Service enforces automatically:

• Free: 5 pins per day, 50 pins per month, 10 AI pin generations per month, 15 stock image searches per month, and 10 keyword searches per month. Pins made on the free plan are saved but cannot be scheduled or published to Pinterest; scheduling and publishing require a paid plan. Automations and bulk pin creation are not included.
• Starter: 10 pins per day, 250 pins per month, and 50 AI pin generations per month.
• Pro: 25 pins per day, 600 pins per month, 150 AI pin generations per month, and bulk pin creation.
• Ultimate: 50 pins per day, 1,200 pins per month, 400 AI pin generations per month, and bulk pin creation.

Stock image search and keyword research are available on every plan, including the free one. These carry their own daily and monthly limits, which are enforced in the app and shown on your settings page.

Daily limits reset each day and monthly limits reset on the first day of each calendar month, regardless of when you were billed. Unused allowance does not carry over. When you reach a limit, the corresponding action is blocked until the limit resets or you upgrade.

We may change the features and limits included in a plan. See Section 8 for how price changes are handled.

5. Billing and Auto-Renewal

5.1 Merchant of Record

Payments for PinGrow are processed by LemonSqueezy, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. Your purchase is therefore also subject to LemonSqueezy's own terms and policies. We do not receive or store your payment card details; LemonSqueezy collects and holds them.

5.2 Subscription Term and Renewal

Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance for the billing period you select at checkout — either monthly or annually. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for your plan, charged to your saved payment method, until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize these recurring charges.

5.3 Upgrades and Downgrades

You may change plans at any time. LemonSqueezy calculates any proration or credit resulting from the change, and your new plan's limits apply to your account once the change has been processed.

5.4 Failed Payments

If a renewal payment fails, your subscription is marked past due and LemonSqueezy may retry the charge. We may continue to provide access to your paid plan while payment is being retried. If payment is not completed, the subscription expires and your account reverts to the free plan.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel a paid subscription at any time, either through the LemonSqueezy customer portal linked from your order confirmation and receipt emails, or by contacting us at support@pingrow.app.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep access to your paid plan, and to the limits that come with it, until that period ends. We do not cut off paid access mid-period, and we do not refund the remainder of the period (see Section 7).

Once the period ends, your account reverts to the free plan and the free plan's limits apply. Scheduling and publishing, automations and bulk pin creation stop being available; pins already scheduled are kept but not published until you subscribe again. Your automations are not deleted, and resume if you subscribe again. Cancelling does not delete your account or your data — see Section 18 for termination and deletion.

7. Refunds

Except where a refund is required by applicable law, payments to PinGrow are non-refundable. In particular:

• We do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, for unused allowance, or for periods in which you did not use the Service.
• Cancelling mid-period does not generate a refund for the remainder of that period.

If you believe you were billed in error, were charged after cancelling, or were unable to use the Service because of a fault on our side, contact us at support@pingrow.app and we will review your request. Any refund we approve is issued by LemonSqueezy to your original payment method. As merchant of record, LemonSqueezy may also apply its own refund and chargeback policies.

8. Price Changes

We may change our prices and the composition of our plans. A price change does not affect the billing period you have already paid for. For an existing subscription, a new price takes effect at your next renewal, and we will give you notice by email or in the app before it does.

If you do not accept a new price, you can cancel before your next renewal as described in Section 6. Continuing to use a paid plan after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

9. Your Content

9.1 Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you upload to or create through PinGrow, including images, text, titles, descriptions, and any other materials (“Your Content”). We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

9.2 License to Us

By uploading content to PinGrow, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you (e.g., storing images for scheduling, sending content to Pinterest for publishing, and sending images/text to our AI provider for caption generation). This license terminates when you delete Your Content or your account.

9.3 Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for ensuring that:

• You have the right to upload and publish Your Content.
• Your Content does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Your Content complies with Pinterest's content policies and all applicable laws.
• Your Content does not contain illegal, harmful, abusive, or objectionable material.

10. AI-Generated Content

PinGrow uses artificial intelligence to generate pin captions — titles, descriptions, hashtags and board suggestions — including by reading an image you provide in order to describe it. PinGrow does not generate or edit images. These features run through OpenRouter, which routes requests to an underlying model that we may change from time to time. See our Privacy Policy for what data is sent.

• No guarantee of accuracy: AI-generated content is provided as suggestions only. It may contain errors, inaccuracies, or content that does not match your intent. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all AI-generated content before publishing.
• No guarantee of originality: AI-generated content may be similar to content generated for other users or to existing content on the internet. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is unique or free from similarities to other works.
• Your responsibility: Once you accept, edit, or publish AI-generated content, it becomes Your Content and you assume full responsibility for it.
• No endorsement: AI-generated suggestions (including board suggestions) are algorithmic recommendations, not endorsements or professional advice.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use PinGrow to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or Pinterest's policies.
• Upload or publish spam, misleading content, or content designed to artificially manipulate Pinterest's algorithms.
• Infringe on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
• Use automated tools or scripts to interact with the Service in a way that exceeds normal usage patterns or circumvents rate limits.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties without our written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.

12. Pinterest Platform Compliance

PinGrow operates as a third-party tool built on the Pinterest API. Your use of PinGrow is subject to Pinterest's developer terms and policies. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Pinterest's terms, Pinterest's terms govern your use of the Pinterest platform.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Pinterest, Inc. “Pinterest” is a trademark of Pinterest, Inc.

13. Service Availability and Scheduling

We strive to keep PinGrow available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Specifically:

• Scheduled pins: We make reasonable efforts to publish your scheduled pins at the designated times. However, we cannot guarantee exact timing due to factors such as server load, Pinterest API availability, rate limits, or network issues.
• Failed publishes: If a pin fails to publish, our system will automatically retry up to 3 times. If all retries fail, the pin will be marked as failed and you will need to take manual action.
• Downtime: The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

14. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding (excluding Your Content), is owned by PinGrow and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our written permission.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR NEEDS.

16. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PINGROW AND ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, AND CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PinGrow and its owners, operators, and contributors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Service.
• Your Content, including any claims of infringement.
• Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.
• Your violation of Pinterest's terms or policies while using PinGrow.

18. Termination

You may stop using PinGrow at any time by signing out and revoking our access through your Pinterest security settings. You may also request account deletion by contacting us. If you have a paid subscription, cancel it as described in Section 6 — deleting your account does not by itself stop billing.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms, abuse of the Service, or inactivity. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Sections 7 (Refunds), 9 (Your Content), 10 (AI-Generated Content), 15 (Disclaimer), 16 (Limitation of Liability), and 17 (Indemnification) survive termination of these Terms.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

20. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

22. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PinGrow regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
